As a Research Student, you will work closely with research personnel and actively participate in a structured learning experience in the laboratory or clinical research setting. This role provides hands-on exposure to laboratory techniques, clinical environments, data collection, data analysis, and other essential research skills, offering a strong foundation for an exciting career in biomedical and/or clinical research. **A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Conduct research in the laboratories and/or clinical setting + Perform data collection and analysis. + Other duties as assigned Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + High School Diploma/GED + Current undergraduate student in an accredited college or university Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Research laboratory experience + Experience or knowledge around epilepsy + Skills or interest in media editing + Training in bioethics or related social sciences **Physical Requirements:** + Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods. + Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment. + Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information. + Ability to distinguish color. + Manual dexterity to handle specimens and repair equipment. + Ability to lift and transport equipment or specimens weighing up to 20 pounds. + May be exposed to hazardous chemicals, bio-hazards, radioactive materials, etc. **Personal Protective Equipment:** + Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. **Pay Range** Minimum hourly: $15.00 Maximum hourly: $150.00 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
