Successful candidate will focus on the synthetic route for our series of PAPP-A inhibitors and preparing a publication to report the first small-molecule PAPP-A inhibitors. Other Responsibilities: + Prepare grant applications focused on validating PAPP-A + Prepare a disclosure and patent application + Synthesizing the most potent inhibitors on a larger scale for upcoming in vivo studies. + Publications on small-molecule PAPP-A inhibitors + Novel compounds as pharmacological tools + Synthesis of peptidomimetics-including inhibitors and PROTACs + Targeting the MLL-oncofusion partners AF9 and ENL + Leadership and supervision to more junior lab members. **Required Qualifications*** + This position requires a PhD + Development of PAPP-A Inhibitors + Medicinal and Synthetic Organic Chemist + Be able to prepare grant applications focused on validating PAPP-A + Must be an experienced researcher, with at least 5 years + Have hands-on experience with leadership and supervision **Modes of Work** Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
