A Research Intern position is available in the Department of Bioinformatics & Computational Biology. The intern will perform analysis of cancer datasets under the supervision of the faculty mentor. He/she will also help in writing up the results and publishing them.

All duties and responsibilities are carried out in compliance with institutional policies, ethical research standards, and applicable federal and state regulations.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
The intern will assist with bioinformatics analysis of various omics datasets and writing of manuscripts. That will provide the intern with experience in processing and analyzing cancer datasets and publishing the results.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Must have a Bachelor of Science degree conferred within the last 12 months. Computer Science degree preferred.
