Research Grant/Contract Management I - Full time- Public Health

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, responsible for monitoring the financial status of specific grants or a small portfolio of Principal Investigators (PIs). This role ensures compliance with accounting procedures, analyzes expenses to allocate grant funds accurately, and collaborates across departments to resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner. Additionally, this role will assist PIs in preparing research grant applications, focusing on budget preparation in adherence to internal and external guidelines.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in health sciences, health related field, finance, or business, OR High School diploma with at least one (1) year experience in a research grant or contract specialist position. Analytical ability with attention to detail. Good interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.
