Responsibilities

A one-year training/fellowship (Kurtz Fellowship) is available for 2026 for a highly motivated trainee or fellow wishing to study the biology and/or treatment of multiple myeloma.  The candidate will join a comprehensive, world-leading multiple myeloma program at Mayo Clinic which offers a broad range of opportunities for clinical and laboratory-based research.  The candidate should hold an M.D. or Ph.D. degree and should have a strong commitment to pursuing a career as an academic hematologist.  This opportunity is open to U.S. and non-U.S. residents.



Qualifications

Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a field deemed relevant by the program. Research Fellow is appropriate for individuals who have completed no more than one prior postdoctoral fellowship, at Mayo Clinic or elsewhere.

$64,079 - $74,963 year; Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
