Integrate single-cell/spatial multi-omics with experimental validation in human/mouse intestinal organoids and co-culture systems. **Key Responsibilities & Activities** Process patient biopsies/PBMCs, generate single-cell datasets (scRNA/CITE-seq), and identify testable pathways. Validate targets in tissue using immunofluorescence/spatial transcriptomics and in vitro using organoid-immune and organoid-stromal co-cultures. Perform CRISPR-Cas9 perturbations and functional epithelial assays (barrier integrity, viability, cytokine readouts), and imaging/flow cytometry. Maintain rigorous records, QC, and SOP adherence for human biospecimens. Analyze/interpret data with basic scripting skills (R/Python) and collaborate closely with computational partners. Write manuscripts, prepare figures, and present at lab/departmental meetings and national/international conferences Help mentor students/technicians. (~70% wet-lab experimentation, ~20% data analysis/interpretation, ~10% writing/mentoring.) **Qualifications** PhD in Immunology, Molecular/Cell Biology, Cancer Biology, Developmental Biology, Genetics/Genomics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Bioengineering/Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, or closely related field. Substantial wet-lab experience: sterile cell culture, flow cytometry, mouse models of disease. Strong communication skills and at least one 1 peer-reviewed publication. **Preferred qualifications** Experience with intestinal organoids Hands-on CRISPR editing/perturbation screens, including assay development and troubleshooting.
