Nguyen’s laboratory at Mayo Clinic focuses on advancing the science of organ preservation and transplantation through innovation in organ perfusion technology, biosensor development, translational research, and clinical outcomes analysis. The team is particularly interested in developing microfluidic and electrochemical biosensing platforms for real-time monitoring of organ viability during machine perfusion, as well as conducting outcomes research to evaluate the impact of perfusion technologies and extended-criteria donor utilization on transplant success and patient survival. A Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic is a temporary training position designed to provide advanced education and experience in scientific investigation. The fellow will work closely with Dr. Nguyen and her multidisciplinary research team to develop, execute, and analyze studies related to **solid organ transplantation, organ perfusion, and biosensor-based monitoring** . **Primary Responsibilities:** Conduct data collection, data analysis, and meta-analyses in the field of transplant and organ preservation. Participate in organ perfusion experiments, including sample collection and biomarker analysis. Assist with animal model organ procurement and vascular cannulation for normothermic and hypothermic machine perfusion studies. Prepare manuscripts, abstracts, and grant applications for publication and presentation.
