Job Title Research Coordinator Agency Texas A&M University Department Psychology Proposed Minimum Salary Commensurate Job Location College Station, Texas Job Type Staff Job Description Here's a Glimpse of the Job The Research Coordinator, plays a vital role in supporting research actitivtes through semi-skilled, technical support research work involving performance of assignments requiring modification and adaptation to routine procedures. Success is measured by the ability to complete tasks efficiently and accurately, contributing to the overall progress of research projects. Opportunities to Contribute: + Monitors grant budgets to ensure expenses align with funding guidelines and timelines. + Maintain accurate financial records for all lab accounts including grants, operating budgets, and discretionary funds. + Reconciles accounts regularly to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. + Processes and tracks expenses, reimbursements, purchase orders, and invoices. + Maintains organized records of budgets, expenditures, and grant-related correspondence. + Coordinates and oversees the daily activities in a laboratory, including staff support and quality control. + Ensures adherence to lab standards and practices to maximize safety and operational effectiveness. + Assists in performance analysis and tests. + Conducts research sessions and coordinates with researchers. + Manages the participant pool by recruiting, screening and maintaining records of research participants. Qualifications + High School Diploma + Three years of related experience. Preferred Qualifications: + Minimum one year of financial management experience related to federally funded research. + Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. + Strong attention to detail. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to positively and professionally interact with clients, staff, and groups of various sizes. Salary: Compensation will be commensurate based on the selected hire’s education and experience. Special Note: This position is funded from grant and/or contract funding, which is renewed through provisions of the grantor of the contract. Therefore, this position is contingent upon continuation of funding from these grants and/or contracts, as well as satisfactory job performance. What You Need to Do Apply!
