Success is measured by the ability to complete tasks efficiently and accurately, contributing to the overall progress of research projects. Opportunities to Contribute: + Monitors grant budgets to ensure expenses align with funding guidelines and timelines. + Maintain accurate financial records for all lab accounts including grants, operating budgets, and discretionary funds. + Reconciles accounts regularly to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. + Processes and tracks expenses, reimbursements, purchase orders, and invoices. + Maintains organized records of budgets, expenditures, and grant-related correspondence. + Coordinates and oversees the daily activities in a laboratory, including staff support and quality control. + Ensures adherence to lab standards and practices to maximize safety and operational effectiveness. + Assists in performance analysis and tests. + Conducts research sessions and coordinates with researchers. + Manages the participant pool by recruiting, screening and maintaining records of research participants. Qualifications + High School Diploma + Three years of related experience. Preferred Qualifications: + Minimum one year of financial management experience related to federally funded research. + Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. + Strong attention to detail. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to positively and professionally interact with clients, staff, and groups of various sizes. Salary: Compensation will be commensurate based on the selected hire’s education and experience. Special Note: This position is funded from grant and/or contract funding, which is renewed through provisions of the grantor of the contract.
