Research Coordinator

Summary

The Research Coordinator will drive and coordinate collaborative research initiatives for CentraCare. Overseeing the coordination, development, and execution of research projects, ensuring that the research aims are aligned with organizational priorities.  Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers. Also, this role includes maintenance and organization of project documentation/records preparation of protocol renewals. 

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare research processes, project management, and stakeholder engagement, while also serving as a catalyst for advancing innovative research outcomes. In addition, the candidate will have the ability to work independently and collaboratively, understand and follow clinical and translational research principles including sponsor guidelines, institution guidelines, and regulatory laws. 

Schedule

Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks | Onsite in St. Cloud, MN. Days | 8-hour shifts between 8:00am and 5:00pm

Pay and Benefits

Starting pay begins at $27.25 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience  Pay range: $27.25 to $40.88 per hour  Full-time benefits: Medical, Dental, PTO, Retirement, employee discounts and more!

Qualifications 

Associate degree/college diploma/certificate program with at least 3 years of experience, or

Associate degree in Clinical Research from an accredited academic institution without experience, or    

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education experience in clinical/translational research or health science discipline. 

Prior involvement in the coordination and implementation of research projects. Prior experience with clinical and translational research. Prior experience in community based, participatory research. Prior experience with IRB (Institutional Review Board). Prior experience managing quantitative data. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and exercise judgement. Must have strong oral and written communication skills. Must be a team player. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
