What You'll Do
As a Research Associate within BCG’s Global Research Organization, you will ensure delivery of accurate and insights-rich projects with a special focus on Energy (Conventional power generation, utilities, distribution and transmission, O&G, low carbon fuels) and Climate and Sustainability topics.
You will gain a strong understanding of a wide range of research resources, information portals and approaches critical to delivering research outputs for your stakeholders. You will display your ability to synthesize data and draw insights in the context of the ‘research ask’, accurately. Over time, you will regularly engage with seniors in the team to grow your understanding of Energy topics and deliver
deeper insights for BCG’s ongoing cases and knowledge products/IPs.

Undergraduate degree minimum (Environmental, Physics, Petroleum, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, Geology, Economics, Sustainable development or Business Administration) with strong academic record0-1 years of relevant work-experience, preferably in a Consulting or Research organizationExcellent English; verbal and writtenAbility to work with wide array of platforms including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; to be able to provide insights in most user-friendly formatOther regional or global languages are a plus (Portuguese, German, Chinese, …)Interest in technical topics but also decarbonization of heavy industries, energy transition, sustainability and Net Zero targets and regulations, ESG are a plusWho You'll Work With

The Global Research Organization is a dynamic and highly visible team focused on business research and process innovation. The team provides specialist research services for BCG’s ongoing cases and knowledge products/IPs, taking deep pride in delivering rapid and precise results.
The team works with both qualitative and quantitative data, conducting research and providing synthesized results from over 100 commercial sources, publicly available data, company and industry research, macro-economic, commodities and trade data.
