Research Associate (Computational Imaging Scientist) will investigate the effects of brain disorders through Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) techniques,
focusing primarily on MRI method development and its application in understanding human diseases.

Responsibilities

1. Develop research protocols for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
2. Develop data acquisition methods for MRI.
3. Develop data processing methods for MRI.
4. Stay abreast of information and new technologies related to MRI.
5. Apply methods to the study of living cells and organisms.
6. Work together with faculty, fellows, and students at the Kennedy Krieger Institute.
7. Participate in publishing papers and/or articles based on research.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must complete the application process and successfully attain/maintain faculty appointment with Johns Hopkins University within the specified timeframe as
determined and set forth by the hiring department at the Kennedy Krieger Institute.


EDUCATION:
• Master’s degree in physics, engineering, chemistry, medical imaging, or related field required.
• Doctoral degree highly desirable.


EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum two years of experience in experimental magnetic resonance is required.
• Experience writing scientific papers required.
• Experience working together in a scientific setting is required.

Minimum pay range USD $72,000.00/Yr. Maximum pay range USD $150,000.00/Yr.
