About the Role

The Research Associate – Executive Search plays a critical role in supporting leadership hiring mandates across Manufacturing, Engineering, and Automotive sectors. This position is ideal for a curious, research-driven professional who enjoys understanding industries, market movements, and technical roles, and who aspires to build a long-term career in executive search.

The role involves deep market research, talent mapping, candidate engagement, and close collaboration with senior consultants on high-impact search assignments.

 

Key Responsibilities

Market & Industry Research

Conduct detailed research on industries, companies, competitors, and market trends

Track current affairs, global developments, and sector-specific movements relevant to clients

Develop strong understanding of Manufacturing, Engineering, and Automotive ecosystems

Talent Mapping & Sourcing

Identify and map leadership and niche talent across target companies

Build and maintain talent pipelines for ongoing and future mandates

Use professional networks, databases, LinkedIn, and research tools for sourcing

 

Candidate Engagement

Initiate professional conversations with candidates and assess suitability

Clearly articulate role requirements, company context, and value proposition

Maintain accurate candidate information and research documentation

 

Search Execution Support

Work closely with senior consultants on end-to-end executive search assignments

Prepare candidate profiles, research reports, and market insights

Support interview coordination and feedback documentation

 

Communication & Documentation

Communicate findings, insights, and updates in a clear and concise manner

Ensure high-quality written and verbal communication with candidates and internal teams

 

Eligibility & Requirements

 

Education

Graduation is mandatory (any discipline)

 

Experience

Minimum 6 months of experience in recruitment

Experience in IT recruitment is not applicable

 

Skills & Competencies

Excellent spoken and written English

Strong communication and articulation skills

High level of awareness of current market, industry, and global trends

Analytical mindset with strong research capability

Ability to understand and learn technical roles and business models
