Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Research Assistant to join our Mandell MS Center research Department.
The Research Assistant provides technical and administrative support for research activities working directly with the Research Associates.
What will you do:
Conducts patient identification, recruitment and tracking, consenting,Collects data through subject interviews and assessmentsProvides Administration of a battery of cognitive and patient-reported outcome measures and demographic questionnaires under the supervision of a licensed neuropsychologist.Responsible for the administrative support of the research projects including IRB submissionsPerforms Data entry and other duties as required for the conduct of the research projects.Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in psychology or neuroscienceExperience with multiple sclerosis is preferred but not required.Some research experience required includes working with human subjects.Must apply basic knowledge of scientific principles. Must be able to conduct assessments and carry out standard protocols associated with IRB approved research studies.Requires strong organizational and data management skills, attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication, and strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Also requires ability to work flexibly and independently as well as on a diverse team.Highlights
