We are looking for a Research Associate to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to get into crop science and research. This role is a great fit for someone who is comfortable working in a greenhouse environment, has basic computer skills, and is eager to learn!
Primary responsibilities:
o\tReview and be familiar with study protocol requirements.
o\tTrial site selection and plot layout.
o\tEquipment calibration and test material application.
o\tSampling and/or evaluation of residue and/or efficacy trials.
o\tPacking and shipping of study-related samples.
o\tSite characterization sampling and shipping.
o\tFacility upkeep: organization, cleaning, supplies inventory control.
o\tRecognize situations when Good Laboratory Practices, Standard Operating Procedures or protocol requirements may not be able to be met and immediately communicate those situations to supervisory staff.
o\tDocument trial activities in appropriate study or facility logbooks.
o\tPrepare and review raw data packages for submission to the Quality Assurance Unit for audit at trial completion.
o\tAssist with written report summaries.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
