Job Title: Research Assistant Location: San Diego, California Type: Contract Compensation: $20-$25 hourly Contractor Work Model: Onsite Role Summary Support clinical studies with a focus on recruitment, prescreening, scheduling, data entry, and lab handling. Role starts admin forward with a clear growth path to CRC for high performers. Key Responsibilities + Drive recruitment and prescreening; manage participant scheduling and reminders + Support patient visits and day of logistics; maintain supplies/rooms + Perform accurate EDC/CRF data entry, query follow up, and documentation upkeep + Assist with lab processing and shipments per protocol and chain-of-custody + Help maintain regulatory binders/eISF sections as assigned; support IRB submissions + Adhere to protocol, GCP, HIPAA, and site SOPs; participate in team huddles/monitor visits Qualifications + Prior research or site support experience (clinical site preferred) + GCP training required (certificate on file or completed on hire) + Strong organization, accuracy, and communication; patient facing comfort + Interest in progressing to CRC; pediatrics exposure is a plus + Proficient with basic productivity tools; familiarity with EDC/CTMS helpful System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
