This is a fully in-person role based at 340 Albert Street, ideal for someone located in Ottawa who thrives in a collaborative office environment. As a Research Analyst, you’ll play a key role in gathering and analyzing core commercial real estate data. Your insights will help shape the research materials that inform strategic decisions across our business. From market trends to property data, your work will directly support our brokers and clients with timely, accurate, and actionable intelligence. If you're passionate about data, real estate, and making an impact through research, we’d love to hear from you. **What You’ll Do** + Coordinate and complete ad hoc broker requests, such as creating market surveys or gathering lease comparables + Maintain and update CBRE's internal leasing/sales database by collecting and inputting data on newly available properties, transactions, tenants, tenants in the market, and new developments. + Perform regular maintenance and updates to property databases, ensuring that the data quality is in accordance with corporate standards + Maintain accurate property and availability information relating to all properties managed by CBRE entities. + Assist in the preparation and production of standard research materials and reports, such as ad-hoc and quarterly reports + Establish and maintain key contacts in the real estate industry, including with owners, landlords, external brokers and researchers, and clients. + Create and analyze market statistics and corresponding materials, including the production of client presentations and reports + Oversee and support any other major deliverables, projects, or key team initiatives + Other duties may be assigned. **What You’ll Need** + Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university, preferably in real estate, economics, finance, geography, urban planning or business, with relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. + High level of attention to detail, maintaining it consistently in all aspects of the role. + Ability to maintain focus and effectiveness in challenging environments requiring persistence and professionalism + Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities. + Resourceful and proactive self-motivated individual + Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). + Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to colleagues, clients, and stakeholders + Demonstrates good judgment in applying company policies and is dependable to deliver high-quality work when handed time-sensitive tasks + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to analyze data and effectively present information + Possess a positive work attitude and ability to work in a team environment. **_Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future._** **Why CBRE?** We lead by example, guided by the needs of the cities we inhabit, the communities we build and the world we live in.
