Short Description
The research administrator will oversee
All processes related to grant proposals and research funding at the institute level with an emphasis on post-award financial monitoring, tracking, and reporting to Institute leadership and faculty researchers. The position works closely with Institute leadership, faculty researchers, and ORSP teams, and Finance while leveraging knowledge of grant and contract management regulations, institutional policies and financial analyses. The individual will use technical expertise, analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and federal regulations to ensure effective grant management and compliance.Experience Required
3-5 years required.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree required.
Special Requirements
Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for research grants.
Experience with institutional grants management systems (e.g., Cayuse, Infor, OnCore, etc.)
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced research environment.
