**Inside Sales - Communications & Security Solutions (CSS)** Wesco Anixter are seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our Sydney team, based from our location in Silverwater. **The Role** In this role, you will interact with existing trade customers to increase sales of our products and services by obtaining and up-selling orders, processing quotations, consulting with suppliers and managing lead times. Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, our Inside Sales Team provides a diverse range of Security, Networking, Datacom and Telecom product solutions. This role will be predominantly supporting our Electronic Security database. **Responsibilities:** + Manage inbound sales calls + Obtain orders through email and phone, verify and enter items, transfer orders to fulfillment, explain backorders and expected delivery dates + Prepares, generates, and follows up on quotations + Serve a variety of markets by suggesting and delivering the right product solutions to meet customer needs + Initiate, establish, and build strong customer relationships, retention and loyalty + Make cold and warm outbound sales calls to uncover opportunities + Co-ordinate with key stakeholders including sales teams, inventory management, warehouse and supply partners to deliver outcomes for customers + Work effectively with others in a team-based environment to accomplish organisational goals **Requirements** + Strong phone presence with the ability to sell + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Previous experience working in a high pressure and/or fast paced customer service or inside sales environment + Technical aptitude with the willingness to learn products, system design and solutions + Excellent administration skills and organisation The successful candidate will be highly driven and eager to succeed in sales by providing superior customer service.
