Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Reporting Manager for one of our offices in Sacramento, CA.

SUMMARY

This role will be responsible for supporting the Program Reporting Unit for the California High-Speed Rail (CAHSR) Program. This role develops and implements reporting strategies, oversees program and enterprise-level reporting, supports project-level needs, and serves as a key liaison within the Project Controls and Project Financial Office to ensure coordinated financial reporting.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in developing and maintaining reporting policies, procedures, and tools related to scope, cost, and scheduleSupport the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual program reportsHelp ensure reporting accuracy, clarity, and alignment with stakeholder needsAid in identifying and implementing reporting automation opportunities using tools like Power BICoordinate with project teams to gather and verify data for programmatic reportingProvide support in compiling progress, cost, cash flow, earned value, and risk data for reportsHelp maintain and track the program reporting calendar and deadlinesAssist with the preparation of executive and board-level reportsSupport communication and follow-up with functional teams to meet reporting requirementsProvide administrative and analytical support to the Program Reporting Unit as needed

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

BA/BS + 8 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, project management, or related fieldPMP or relevant project/reporting certification preferredProficient in Power BI, Visio, Primavera P6, TILOS, and Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with desktop publishing and professional graphics softwareStrong communication, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressureFamiliarity with rail and roadway infrastructure projectsExtensive experience in scheduling, project controls, and data analytics toolsKnowledge of public-sector reporting standards and capital program environments
