What this job involves

 

We are seeking a Data and Reporting Specialist to join our Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) Compliance operations team in Gurugram.  As a key member of our global team, you will deliver reporting solutions that contribute to both tactical and strategic needs while supporting local operations. This role distinctively bridges report creation with critical data analysis, understanding that meaningful insights emerge from the intersection of quality data and strategic reporting.

 

You will be instrumental in implementing and supporting the team's reporting and analytical application solutions, working collaboratively with stakeholders across different time zones and geographical locations to deliver high-impact data insights that support the organization's strategic objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Build and maintain automated dashboards using Power BI/Tableau, developing interactive reporting including executive reporting solutions

Gather reporting requirements, implement data quality controls, and maintain conceptual and physical data models

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technology, data governance, and global Compliance partners to define clear requirements and deliver high-quality solutions

Apply agile methodologies to reporting and analytics development, delivering solutions iteratively while incorporating stakeholder feedback throughout the process

Proactively identify and pursue new reporting automation opportunities that increase efficiency for compliance operations

Provide exceptional stakeholder management, ensuring clear communication of timelines, progress updates, and problem-solving approaches to automation solutions

Advocate for and facilitate internal audit stakeholders' efficient use of reporting tools, including support for analysis requests and training

Skills and Abilities

Excellent communication skills, capable of handling sensitive data and delivering complex information effectively.

Strong team player who can work autonomously or collaboratively across diverse geographies

Excellent time management skills, with an ability to prioritize tasks and operate without constant supervision.

Proficiency in data analysis, data visualization, and storytelling through data to provide effective reporting

Robust problem-solving skills, capable of identifying compliance needs, eliciting new requirements, and aligning solutions

Education & Experience

 

·       Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field

·       5+ years’ experience in a data analytics and/or report creation role

·       Proven ability to process large datasets and distill complex results into digestible reporting

Hands-on experience with analytics and reporting tools like PowerBI, Tabelau, Matplotlib, Plotly, Seaborn, SQL, R, Python, or Alteryx a plus

Competence with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
