JOB SUMMARY:

Hand finish and deburr a wide variety of metal parts and castings for the industry.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Basic knowledge of General / Principal Methods of Operation (RP’s, OH, DE, SOPMs) Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and instructions.Disassembly functions performedPerform installation of Inserts and Studs (Interface Fit, Slip Fit, Force Mate) to specified requirements and tolerances.Comprehend and use torque values.Perform installation and bonding of details into parts (Hysol, Loctite).Ensure all paperwork and documentation is completed properly.Perform rework assignments as required by SME/Supervisor.Utilize and care for a variety of tools.Assist with and abide by shelf life compliance.Ensure all DOT Hazards Waste Management and Procedure are followed.Work with EHS Policies, Hazard Communication Hazardous Materials.

EDUCATION:

Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certificationFAA Airframe and Power plant certificate preferred

EXPERIENCE:

0-6 months aircraft maintenance experience required. Knowledge of aircraft maintenance preferred.Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority, if applicable
