Kforce has a client in Corvallis, OR that is seeking a Repair and Maintenance Technician responsible for applying developed expertise to solve complex process and maintenance issues across test and operations environments. This role supports engineers by leveraging intermediate knowledge of electromechanical technology and software systems, including PLC and controls experience. The Repair and Maintenance Technician ensures maximum uptime and optimal performance of assigned equipment and processes through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities: * Apply developed expertise to resolve complex process and maintenance issues across test and operations * Assist engineers with electromechanical technology and software-related tasks * Utilize PLC and controls experience to support equipment functionality and process automation * Independently perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on assigned tools and equipment * Provide troubleshooting and testing support to ensure equipment reliability and performance * Write and modify software and PLC code to enhance tool capabilities and resolve issues * Manage spare parts inventory to support maintenance and repair activities * Maintain calibration schedules and ensure compliance with standards * Recommend solutions, specifications, and workflow improvements to enhance process efficiency * Contribute to the creation, maintenance, and improvement of documentation and performance metrics
