What will you do

(Job Responsibilities)

Lead Commercial & Operations for India Rental Business.Set up and be fully responsible for the overall P&L for the India Rental Business.Develop and execute a comprehensive market strategy for Rental Services in India, aligning with organizational goals and market trends.Lead the identification, evaluation, and pursuit of business opportunities, build and explore customer relationships, grow the customer base, and establish strategic partnerships with key accounts to achieve sustainable growth.Drive development and execution of commercial programs to create awareness and demand for Rental Services.Implement effective sales enablement programs, including training, tools, and processes to empower sales teams and enhance efficiency.Serve as the operations leader for India Rentals, establishing robust rental service processes and operational teams. Manage performance metrics to achieve business objectives.Ensure quality standards for all service operation processes, driving customer satisfaction and effective execution of work.Utilize continuous improvement methodologies (LEAN, Six Sigma) to deliver enhanced productivity and customer satisfaction.Monitor, measure, and optimize processes to effectively meet customer needs and business goals.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize synergies and improve profitability for Trane Rental Services.Build and develop the India Rental team, providing strategic direction, coaching, and talent development aligned with required skill sets and capabilities.Partner with leadership to drive customer-focused operational excellence across all teams.Administer safety and environmental programs in accordance with local regulations and company standards.

What you will bring

(Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 10 years’ leadership experience in P&L management, business development, sales, operations, and strategic planning, ideally within the HVAC or rental services industry.Proven expertise in developing and executing go-to-market and operational strategies with strong business acumen and market insight.Demonstrated ability to build and foster strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, customers, and industry players.Experience with LEAN, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.Excellent leadership and people management skills with a track record of inspiring and motivating cross-functional teams.Strong financial skills and analytical capability, able to analyze data, identify insights, and drive data‑driven decisions.Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder engagement skills.Willingness and ability to travel as required to support customer meetings and strategic initiatives.
