The Renewals and Accounting Manager oversees a team of renewal specialists, ensuring efficient closure of contract renewals and seamless management of financial operations from quoting to invoicing. This role is crucial for driving contract renewals to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals. The manager also crafts and implements accounting strategies that align with corporate goals and comply with regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include managing the financial closing process, preparing and consolidating financial statements, and ensuring adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The manager establishes robust internal controls, conducts in-depth financial analyses, and provides senior management with actionable insights. **Your role:** + Leadership and Team Management: Guide a team of Renewal Specialists to achieve goals such as year-over-year revenue growth, successful contract renewals, expansion in service agreements, and accurate sales forecasting. Talent Management: Manage team development, including selection, performance management, compensation, and career growth, while ensuring effective operational leadership. + Accounting Strategy Development: Create and implement accounting strategies that align with corporate objectives and regulatory standards to ensure financial excellence. + Financial Process Oversight: Oversee the complete financial closing process, striving for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance, and drive process improvements for efficiency. Financial Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and consolidate financial statements, ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other regulations. Analytical Insight: Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to identify trends and opportunities, providing senior management with actionable insights for strategic decision-making. + Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, finance, operations, and business units to provide financial expertise and support organizational initiatives. + Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all accounting activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies, maintaining high ethical standards. Audit Coordination: Collaborate with auditors during audits, ensuring seamless access to required documentation and addressing any audit findings promptly. + Continuous Improvement: Drive enhancements in accounting systems and processes, using technology and best practices to boost efficiency and accuracy. **You’re the right fit if:** + You’ve acquired a minimum of 5 years of accounting and financial management experience with a Bachelor's in Business Administration, Health Science or equivalent or 2 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience. + Your skills include a detailed understanding of finance, accounting, and business management processes and reporting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, a Proficiency with the use of accounting software and CRM tools, along with exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. + Preferred experience managing a team of accounting and financial analysts in a high volume fast paced organization + Preferred proven track record of successful customer renewals and relationship management. + You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.  **How we work together** We believe that we are better together than apart. The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $94,000- $151,000. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
