The Senior Backend Software engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining the web API backend for O2Xs digital products. The FastAPI-based microservice backend will implement all of the server-side business logic for O2Xs products and through ORM tooling will be responsible for production databases. This role will be additionally responsible for build and deployment of the FastAPI microservices on the AWS cloud platform using GitLab CI/CD.

Key Responsibilities:
-Delivering quality microservices to support the O2X digital products.
-Leading by example in self-documenting code and implementing standards to create an accessible SDLC and development environment.
-Developing and operating (DevOps) with a containerized hosting platform on AWS.
-Helping the team develop new coding practices centered around AI coding agents.
-Participating in feature development discussions and assisting with work prioritization.
-Pushing innovative ideas for small software shop development practices.
