Duties & Responsibilities:

Define Citrix Desktop Virtualization, Virtual Workspace, and Application Delivery strategy and roadmap Design, implement and support enterprise-level Citrix environmentsInstall, configure, and maintain Citrix servers and related systemsLead NetScaler implementations and configuration for networking, load balancing, and performance optimizationDevelop, document, and enforce the standards and controls to ensure integrity of the Citrix environmentIdentify opportunities to standardize, enhance, and automate existing processesProvide advanced technical consulting to internal teams for solution design, system management, tuning and modification of solutions.Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and problems with Citrix and related systemsServe as third level escalation for application support and troubleshootingEngage in technical problem solving across multiple technologiesOwn Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management for Citrix and related systemsPerforms other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements:

Minimum 4 years of experience in information technologyBachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics or natural sciences preferredOne of the following Citrix certifications is preferred but not required: Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer (CCEE), Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization (CCP-V); Citrix Certified Expert -Virtualization (CCE-V); Citrix Certified Professional - Networking (CCP-N)4 years of experience in deploying and managing large Citrix environments with over 2000 concurrent users4 years of experience as Citrix Virtualization engineer/administration with responsibilities including roadmap design, assessments, architecture, planning, implementation and upgrades/migrations ofTeam Player with proven leadership, communication, organizational, and strong interpersonal skillsAbility to establish new standards for quality, performance or productivitySelf-motivated, with keen attention to detail and excellent judgment skillsMust have excellent writing and communication skillsAbility to prioritize and drive to results with a high emphasis on qualityExperience with Citrix technologies, including CVAD (Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7.1811 or later), Citrix NetScaler, Web Interface/StoreFront, Citrix Provisioning and Machine Creation Services (MCS), App-V Integration, Citrix AppLayering, Citrix Workspace Environment Manager.Experience in implementing end-to-end Citrix Desktop Virtualization, Virtual Workspace - Application Delivery solutionsPossess a detailed understanding of architectural dependencies of Citrix technologiesMust have the ability to identify and instill industry best practicesExperience in configuring and managing complex Citrix environments containing XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler, Storefront, Firewalls, and other supporting technologiesAbility to translate complex technical information into understandable business language
