Remote Senior Business Excellence Specialist

Siemens Government Technologies (SGT) is seeking a Senior Business Excellence Specialist to support the streamlining and alignment of business processes and procedures across the SGT portfolio and maintaining ISO 9001 compliance. Primary focus will be ISO Auditing and to support consistent development, review, dissemination, training on, and archiving company processes and procedures.
This position will take a continuous improvement approach, working with the Business Excellence Manager to proactively identify potential quality opportunities through the review and auditing of operational procedures, key performance metrics, and transactions, to ensure that operational processes are being executed in accordance with defined processes, policies and procedures, regulations, service level standards, and U.S. Government requirements.
Responsibilities and Duties include:•Assist in managing the corporate documents program covering operations, legal, engineering, human resources, finance, and environmental health and safety.•Collaborate with information technology teams regarding necessary maintenance, corrective actions, and upgrades needed to the corporate documents and policy management software.•As appropriate, format, edit, standardize, proofread and correct information written by subject matter experts, in accordance with corporate requirements, arrange it in a logical order and ensure a consistent writing style throughout the document so that the resultant product can be easily read and understood by employees.•As appropriate, identify and acquire additional information or explanation needed to complete technical documentation.•Support a functioning change control board for corporate documents including policies and procedures.•Tracking of Quality system metrics such as Corrective and Preventive Actions, Customer complaints and/or issue resolution, and other quality metrics as needed to support management review or QMS data.•Assisting in documentation of QA and QC procedures and creating associated work instructions and standard operating procedures.•Drives and supports Business Excellence activities to continuously improve business performance in the defined area of responsibility. •Drives and supports analysis of strengths and weak points of current business, identifies improvement areas and supports coordinated target setting across functions. •Drives and supports cross-functional implementation of Business Excellence approaches, (e.g.BE Toolbox methods and tools, providing coaching and training as necessary).•Assist in conducting audits and reviews of but not limited to: Operations workflows (including contractual and regulatory required quality requirements), Documentation processes, Timeliness and accuracy of processes vs performance metric goals to ensure compliance with the ISO 9001: 2015 standard.
Required Qualifications:•Minimum of five (5) years' experience with QMS and technical writing such as policies and internal/external audit findings•ISO-9001 or related QMS auditing experience •Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 years of equivalent experience •Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to write technical material•Ability to effectively express and comprehend both oral and written communications and present information to a variety of audiences.•Skilled in the use of information technology systems, software, and media used to produce and store technical publications in electronic format.•Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint, Office, Excel, Acrobat •Foundational knowledge of industry best practices for implementation, tracking, and reporting of technical processes and procedures•Self-motivated high performer.•Writing samples may be requested.
Preferred Qualifications: •Construction industry experience is preferred•Technical aptitude is highly preferred.•Experience with Visio and PowerBI.•Procore experience•Salesforce experience
Travel: •Willing to travel 10% annually
Security Clearance: •Candidate must be US citizen and have the ability to obtain and/or maintain a US federal agency security clearance.

An annual incentive target also is part of the compensation package for this position.
