Remote Senior Accountant Consultant
Description + Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries and account reconciliations + Lead month‑end and year‑end close activities, ensuring deadlines are met + Analyze financial statements and variances; provide insights and explanations to management + Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies + Support external and internal audits, including preparation of audit schedules + Assist with financial reporting, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow analysis + Review and improve accounting processes and internal controls Additional Skills & Qualifications + 2+ years of recent Oracle experience + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field + 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience + Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards + Experience with month‑end close and reconciliations + Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas) + Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills + High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Experience Level Expert Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
