Kforce as a client in need of a Remote RPG Developer. Responsibilities: * Design, develop, test, and maintain in-house applications on IBM System using Websmart (PML, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, CSS), RPG, and CLLE * Collaborate with users, Business Analysts, and IT teams to define technical specifications and assess system-wide impacts * Use binding directories, prototypes, sub-procedures, stored procedures, and service programs * Troubleshoot application errors and enhance performance using data-centric architecture and design * Manage projects using project and change management tools * Support the Help Desk, Training, and business partners in resolving system issues * Research and evaluate emerging technologies for business impact * Maintain high standards of quality and customer service * Communicate effectively in a team environment with peers, customers, and vendors * Provide time tracking and feedback to the Project Management Office * Lead and implement IT process improvement initiatives * Mentor and support less experienced teammates; assist with training and documentation * Share technical research and solutions with the team * Review junior teammates' work and provide feedback to management * Create reusable templates and models for departmental use * Contribute to special projects and initiatives as assigned
