Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmacy Technician or Medical Assistant to join our team. This role involves handling various responsibilities including data entry, patient follow-ups, and managing electronic refill scripts. The ideal candidate will have a strong medical experience with experience in a contact center environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct follow-ups and patient updates through data entry.Answer inbound phone calls efficiently.Handle Electronic Refill Scripts (ERX) and order labs.Relay lab results accurately and manage the Cover My Meds process.Schedule follow-ups and triage patient concerns.Provide clinical support and assist with prior authorizations.

Essential Skills

1+ year experience as a Medical Assistant or Pharmacy Technician.1+ year experience in a high call volume environment.High School Diploma.Proficiency in EMR systems, specifically Athena.Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with electronic health records and pharmacy operations.Prior authorization and insurance knowledge.Skills in customer service and front desk operations.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus.

Work Environment

Work onsite at a contact center, handling over 200 calls a day. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
