Job Description
Your main role will be utilizing your clinical skills to complete utilization management reviews, including prior authorizations, coverage exceptions, and quantity limit exceptions. You will perform these reviews independently within a team of your peers and other pharmacy professionals.
ResponsibilitiesConduct utilization management reviews independently.Participate in a team of pharmacy professionals to ensure high-quality service.Meet monthly quality and productivity goals.Assist in cross-department training opportunities, such as Medication Therapy Management or Call Center Counseling, if available.Essential SkillsDoctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science Pharmacy degree.2 years of work experience in retail, managed care, or clinical pharmacy.Current pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious Pharmacy Benefits Management or Case/Care Management experience preferred.Retail experience, such as CVS or Walgreens, is highly preferred over hospital experience.Work EnvironmentThis is a fully remote work-from-home position, open to candidates located in any state except California, Hawaii, or Virginia.Candidates can be licensed in any U.S. state but cannot reside in California, Hawaii, or Virginia.Shifts typically start between 9-10 am CST and are determined by team bid based on seniority.Candidates should expect full-time schedules with potential overtime during peak seasons, typically November through May.The team rotates weekend shifts, with holidays determined by a team bid.Training is mandatory and lasts approximately 10-12 weeks, with hours from 8 am to 4:30 pm CST, Monday through Friday. Time off during training is limited, and any required time off must be discussed during the interview for consideration.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $55.00/hr.
