A large retail company is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Lead to design, develop, implement, and maintain seamless integrations between Workday Financials (including Accounting Center and Prism Analytics) and various internal/external financial and accounting systems, ensuring day-to-day operations, data integrity, performance, and compliance. This high-visibility technical role leads integration development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance while partnering closely with Finance, Accounting, HR, IT, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions and deliver organizational goals on time. Key responsibilities include developing integration strategies using Workday Orchestrate, Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, PECI, XSLT, and other tools; collaborating on financial data flows, event-to-accounting mappings, and Prism data pipelines; leading discovery sessions to identify opportunities and implement enhancements; assisting with data migrations and validations (COA mapping, balances, journals, customers, suppliers, assets); monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring data accuracy; staying current with Workday updates and industry trends; and contributing to process documentation, best practices, and risk escalation. The ideal candidate combines deep financial and accounting expertise with strong IT acumen and an analytical approach to integration design to align technology strategy with business objectives and champion consistent methodology for successful outcomes. Skills and Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
· 6+ years of hands-on experience in Workday Financials integrations and Accounting Center/Prism, with a deep understanding of Workday Orchestrate, Studio, EIBs, PECI, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Document Transformations, Workday Packaged Integrations, XSLT, etc. and Workday's integration architecture.
· Experience with at least 2 full life cycle Workday Finance integrations.
· Experience in using Developer tools such as Oxygen, Postman/SOAP UI or its equivalent.
· Expert knowledge of Finance processes, Workday Data model and infrastructure, and best practices in Finance system integrations, HR integrations, etc.
· Prior experience managing a team of integration specialists, demonstrating effective leadership and team collaboration.
· Proficiency in integration technologies such as REST APIs, SOAP, XML, and Web Services. Workday certification in Workday Integrations and Studio
