Job Description
We are seeking a mid-level drafter to provide immediate support on two active fabrication projects. The ideal candidate will have between 1 to 10 years of experience and should be proficient in parametric 3D modeling software such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or Inventor. This role involves creating precise technical drawings and effectively communicating engineering ideas to support fabrication. Our company specializes in custom environments, retail displays, and experiential installations. This is a full-time contract position for 40 hours a week over an initial duration of 4–6 weeks, with the potential for extension based on performance and workload.
Responsibilities
Create precise technical drawings using parametric 3D modeling software.Communicate engineering and fabrication concepts clearly.Support drafting needs for two active projects.Translate design intent into buildable components, especially in fast-paced environments.Essential Skills
Proficiency in Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or Inventor.Ability to produce sharp technical drawings.Strong communication skills for engineering and fabrication concepts.Fabrication experience!!Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in theater set design or scenic fabrication.Familiarity with custom fabrication workflows.Ability to work in Eastern Standard Time or one time zone over.Work Environment
This is a fully remote position requiring candidates to be self-sufficient and responsive during Eastern Standard Time working hours. Candidates must have their own workstation and software licenses, as no equipment or software will be provided. The work environment is fast-paced and project-driven, demanding a high level of independence and initiative.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $43.00/hr.
