Position Summary:
The Senior Manager for the Professional Services team at our client is seeking a Database Administrator Professional Services to join our team supporting the Delphix product line. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and optimizing Delphix solutions for enterprise clients. You will collaborate directly with customers to understand their technical requirements; design tailored solutions and lead the deployment process from planning through post-implementation support. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in database administration, infrastructure, and automation who excel in customer-facing environments and are passionate about solving complex technical challenges. This person will be within a team of 12, split between the US and the UK mostly, and will work closely with 4-5 of those individuals with a similar skillset.
Responsibilities:
Deliver Infrastructure architecture design, deployment, and integration of Delphix solutions in complex enterprise environments
Translate customer use cases into actionable solution architectures, with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability
Collaborate with customer teams to automate Delphix provisioning and data management workflows using scripting and APIs
Provide technical guidance and best practices to client teams and internal stakeholders
Troubleshoot and resolve environment-specific issues in collaboration with Delphix Engineering and Support
Develop and maintain technical documentation and playbooks for customer deployments
Drive end-to-end technical project delivery, including requirements gathering, technical scoping, and hands-on implementation
Identify recurring deployment challenges and feed insights into product and service enhancements
Act as a trusted technical advisor and subject matter expert (SME) for Delphix during pre-sales, implementation, and post-go-live phases

Skills and Requirements
Database Administration Experience with SQL Server or Oracle DBMS, with deep understanding of backup and recovery, log architecture, and connectivity
Experience with high-availability and performance-oriented database platforms such as Oracle RAC, Exadata, or equivalent features in SQL Server (e.g., Always On) or MongoDB (e.g., sharding, replica sets)
Cloud administration experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure environments
Scripting experience in at least one of these languages --Bash shell, PowerShell, Python, or Perl
Ability to identify issues and risks proactively, predominantly in time to affect outcomes
Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Troubleshooting skills in networking (e.g., connectivity, DNS, firewalls) and storage systems (e.g., NFS, SAN, disk performance issues)
Strong UNIX/Linux or Windows system administration skills, including software builds, OS error troubleshooting, and performance analysis
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining data masking policies and workflows to meet compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA)
Experience with data compliance platforms, including capabilities such as sensitive data discovery, data masking, and enforcing policy-based complianceregardless of specific tool or vendor null
