Responsibilities:
Provide customer support for pre-order activities including pricing, availability, proposals, quotations, technical specifications, and custom solutions
Facilitate and follow up on sales inquiries and prepare quotations, proformas, and bids for contracts, strategic accounts, national accounts, direct customers, and government sales
Process customer orders including order entry, promise dates, and collaboration with materials, shipping/receiving, and finance teams
Prepare documentation for production teams to ensure smooth order flow from start to finish
Manage customer orders from placement to invoicing across multiple channels (phone, fax, EDI, email, websites)
Communicate commitments such as delivery dates and issue resolutions while keeping customers updated on order status, backorders, or changes
Utilize Oracle/Kodiak systems for order fulfillment and customer activity tracking
Coordinate with transportation teams to optimize delivery performance and costs
Process customer return authorizations (CRAs) and RMAs in accordance with policies
Drive customer satisfaction within assigned customer portfolio (parts and commercial teams)
Respond to or escalate product and technical questions to appropriate channels
Ensure consistency in pricing and order processing across customer channels
Participate in continuous improvement activities to streamline processes
Requirements:
Associate’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or Finance (Bachelor’s preferred)
Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service or sales within a manufacturing or production environment
Experience with order tracking and bid review
Strong computer skills and familiarity with Agile environments
Preferred Skills:
Experience with aftermarket products
Knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP systems
Background in coordinating government or strategic account sales
Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
