Job Description We are seeking a motivated Junior to Mid-Level Python Developer to join our dynamic startup team. This is a backend-focused engineering role with opportunities to work on greenfield projects, building and integrating backend API services for a website platform managing RV inventory. Skills and Requirements Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in backend development. Strong proficiency in Python for backend development. Experience with Azure for infrastructure management. Familiarity with JavaScript (Node.js) for backend services. Role Focus: 80-90% backend development, with minimal frontend responsibilities (10-20% JSX or similar). Soft Skills: Scrappy, flexible, and willing to roll up sleeves in a startup environment; comfortable wearing multiple hats. Experience with e-commerce or retail platforms. Familiarity with load testing tools like Postman or end-to-end testing frameworks like Playwright for frontend-backend interactions. Proximity to Chicago, IL, for occasional in-person collaboration (not mandatory). Exposure to inventory management or user management systems.
