Remote Pharmacy Technician – Insurance & Coverage Determination Specialist
Location: Remote (U.S. Based)

About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Pharmacy Technician to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling insurance claims, processing prior authorizations, and making coverage determinations. You’ll work independently from your own space, but as part of a collaborative and mission-driven team dedicated to improving patient access to medications.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and follow up on insurance claims and prior authorizationsEvaluate and make coverage determinations based on insurance guidelinesCommunicate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients as neededMaintain accurate and up-to-date records in electronic systemsEnsure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standardsRequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent(required)Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state you reside inCertified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred but not required1+ year of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare insurance settingStrong understanding of insurance processes and prior authorization workflowsExcellent computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systemsReliable high-speed internet and a quiet, professional remote workspaceStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsWhat We Offer100%remote work flexibilitySupportive and inclusive team cultureOpportunities for growth and developmentPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
