What you will need:
Minimum: Possess or be eligible for a valid current Nuclear Medicine license/certificate. This will be either an RT(N) registration through the ARRT or CNMT registration through the NMTCB. Must be able to perform electrocardiographs (EKGS)Must have BLS certification. Must be proficient in venipuncture for injection of radiopharmaceuticals.What you will do:
Performs all required quality control procedures on gamma cameras, dose calibrator and uptake probe/well counter and logs results. Administers the prescribed radiopharmaceutical and performs all data collection and associated computer interactions as required. Processes image data and evaluates the images for technical quality. Observes patient during the procedure and reports any unusual occurrences to appropriate personnel.
