Relief Concrete Plant Operator | SEQ Metro

Hymix are seeking a reliable, committed and safety-focused Concrete Plant Operator to join our team in South-East Queensland. You will be responsible for being relief cover for all Hymix plants across Brisbane North, South, and the Gold Coast, flexibility is a must in this role.

 

In your new role with us, you will:

Operate a Front-End Loader / FELCarry out stocktaking of raw materials and other stocks.Work with dispatch and drivers to achieve efficient starting, finishing, and meal & rest times for drivers.Maintain the yard.Organising and liaising with allocations regarding raw material deliveriesMinor plant maintenanceOperating the plantBalance our customers’ needs and allocation of fleet through effective planning and decision making to ensure maximum fleet productivity, utilisation and efficiencyManage and monitor orders to ensure delivery and products meet quality requirements

Are a Motivated Individual that takes initiativeEnjoy a varied role and travelling between sites.Eagerness to learn about all details relating to concrete plant operation and plant maintenancePhysically able to complete manual labour where requiredMechanical knowledge will be highly regardedWorks well with a small teamAre a team player who can multi-task and make quick effective decisions under pressureAre a natural problem solver and enjoy planning and troubleshootingHave reliable transport and Australian Driver’s License (P platers accepted)
