The Program Manager will direct a team of facilities associates, as well as potentially supervise Area Maintenance Managers and will ensure a safe working environment for all.

Key job responsibilities
• Support the Operations team by working in a safe, customer-focused manner
• Develop and design innovative solutions to difficult problems
• Handle multiple internally and externally sponsored projects
• Meet deadlines, develop and track plans on how to accomplish departmental and distribution goals
• Work with local site Safety Department leadership to understand, implement and audit safety programs. Ensure that all safety programs and procedures are followed
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs that integrate with Operations schedules.
• Facilitate and mentor the professional development of departmental Maintenance technicians to empower them achieve their advancement goals
• Participate in and support efficiency improvement Kaizen activities for the site, as well as the network when needed.
• Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly network Maintenance calls and periodic Maintenance Manager conferences.
• Be the site level SME (Subject Matter Expert) on the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software, train the local engineering team in its use and escalate issues as required to the NA team.
• Ensure site level equipment, spare parts and minimum holding levels are correctly recorded in the system in order to ensure technicians are never without the parts they need.
• Ensure the system accurately forecasts and assigns all required preventative maintenance to technicians within the team to provide a high level of equipment availability to our internal customers.
• Compile equipment information, performance metrics and machine histories and make recommendations for improvements based on their findings.
• Manage spare parts stock levels, place and track orders as required. Work with procurement and the wider NA network to find savings or efficiencies.
• Role model health & safety best practices and monitor those around them to ensure they follow the example they set.
• Coach and mentor the technicians on shift.
• Support the Maintenance Manager (MM) and to supervise the shift in their absence.
• Develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organization.
• Understanding of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and equipment performance metrics.
