The Minden Reliability Engineer is responsible for leading and managing site maintenance and reliability systems to reduce maintenance costs, enhance safety performance, and maximize equipment uptime. The role supports both facilities and manufacturing assets, ensuring continuous improvement through structured reliability processes, governance, and technical expertise.

As a Minden Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Serving as the gatekeeper for asset hierarchy standards and naming conventions aligned with the Cordant Asset Strategy

Managing the Asset Criticality assessment process for new and modified assets using the Cordant Asset Strategy module

Overseeing the application of reliability methodologies such as RMCA, FMECA, and FMEA within the Cordant Asset Strategy module

Leading the Preventive Maintenance (PM) development process, including deployment of condition‑monitoring technologies and creation of time‑based PM tasks based on criticality, FMEA outcomes, and reliability data

Acting as the gatekeeper for site spare‑parts taxonomy and ensuring consistency across systems

Managing site spare‑parts optimization using the Cordant Asset Strategy module

Overseeing updates to the SAP PM module with asset hierarchy, PM tasks, and spare‑parts information for new or modified assets

Managing KPIs related to site maintenance and reliability performance

Serving as the gatekeeper for Defect Elimination methodology and ensuring its consistent application

Leading failure analysis and incident investigations through the Defect Elimination process

Providing reliability engineering support to plant engineering projects using Cordant Asset Strategy tools and Design for Reliability principles

To be successful in this role, you will:

Have bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical discipline

Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance, operations, manufacturing, or reliability management

Have familiarity with industrial equipment used in facility support and/or manufacturing environments

Have strong knowledge of maintenance and reliability best practices

Have working knowledge of CMMS/EAM systems and their functionality

Preferred Qualifications

Have SMRP or CRL certification

Have experience or knowledge of SAP PM or Maintenance Connection

The annual pay scale for this position is between $96,670.00 - $1,79,570.00.

Candidates for this role (office-based/ hybrid/ remote) must be located in or near the locations displayed above. The pay range/scale displayed above represents Baker Hughes’ good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position at the time of this posting and applies to the possible locations for this position. Baker Hughes will issue a non-bias competitive offer; the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hires, full-time salaries in some U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. Where an applicant will ultimately fall within the pay range/scale depends on a variety of factors, including, for example, geographic work location, skillset, qualifications, internal pay alignment, level of experience, and demonstrated performance over time. Please keep in mind that the range stated above is the full base salary range for the role and does not include other forms of compensation.
