Reliability Engineer

You will ensure our manufacturing strategy is implemented and is fully effective and you will strive to build a high performing organization. **How you will contribute** You will: + Manages change/ transformation change/ transformation amongst the Operating teams in the implementation of IL6S-Integrated Lean 6 sigma phase journey, FoF-Factory of Future Line centric organization & roles (AM-Autonomous Maintenance, PM-Progressive Maintenance and an integrated 6 star model within operating Line teams) to progress into Self sufficient teams. Role models Values and principles through effective coaching, mentoring and development of the team. + Support the Manufacturing annual operational plans and targets to meet Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, Engagement goals in line with the site Compelling business need. coach Line Leaders, cascade & communicate the plans and targets to employees to ensure alignment and understanding around priorities, focus and KPI’s. + Lead and be Accountable to establish a strong Governance to Review, Control Operational performance and Continuous Improvement plan and embed a zero loss mindset to constantly improve and deliver against best in class both internally and externally. Drive the Operating team to identify and manage improvements to technology, culture, capability and operating systems to deliver a best practice and reliable operation. + Support all Manufacturing standards, Governance, Compliance requirements (e.g. Corporate Quality, Food safety & GMP, Health, Safety, Security, Environment, Sustainability, Code of conduct, Policies & principles, Operational standards, Local legal requirements, Internal Audit norms, & other procedures updated from time to time) are in place, understood by all, and is regularly reviewed and monitored for effective implementation. + Lead and be Accountable for Talent, Capabilities & Engagement for the Manufacturing team - identify and implement critical levers to attract, retain & develop critical talent and builds capability at all levels, technical and behavioral, to build a sustainable workforce profile for the future. Partner effectively with all multi-functional peers internally & externally (outside the plant) to achieve objectives, goals and KPI’s. **What you will bring** A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge: + Strong operational & manufacturing leadership experience in CPG industry with experience in TPM-Total productive maintenance, 5s, LEAN, 6 sigma tools and concepts + Excellent communication (verbal & written), coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment. Demonstrated abilities in Analytics, problem solving and team building + An Engineer with a strong financial & business acumen, project management skills and Knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment. The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the reliability and maintainability of our manufacturing equipment and processes. This role will play a critical part in minimizing downtime, reducing maintenance costs, and ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our plant. This role owns and directly drives reduction in GE loss due to breakdowns by implementing Progressive Maintenance best practices. This role is the natural backup to the maintenance manager and back up PM Pillar Lead. **What you will do:** Review, develop, update, and implement maintenance strategies to improve the reliability, availability, and performance of equipment and machinery within a facility. Own breakdown elimination work process including analysis and implementing the countermeasures to breakdowns and drive capability development of the work process across the site. Work with the maintenance planners to review, optimize and improve maintenance PMs and planned shutdowns to reduce unplanned GE losses. Follow up on post PM repair actions. (MP&S) Work closely with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to implement reliability improvements. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to equipment reliability and maintenance effectiveness, including but not limited to: MTTR, MTBB, operational losses, minor stops, BD effect on GE. Develop and maintain maintenance procedures, standards, and training materials as needed. Interface with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) to understand and clarify procedures and basic condition of equipment and update relevant standards, as needed based on direction from manager. Conduct equipment criticality assessments to prioritize maintenance efforts and resource allocation. Identify capability gaps within maintenance team members and work with maintenance manager to address. Work with engineering and maintenance team to ensure new projects integrate with existing PM standards including: + Update to functional location structure. + Updates to maintenance plan. + Updates to stock room inventory with recommended parts. + Updates to technical documentation. Other duties as assigned. **What extra ingredients will you bring:** + Strong SAP PM skills (ability to review and analyze functional location structure, work notifications and orders, maintenance plans, maintenance cost, stockroominventoryand parts movement). + Expert at Root Cause Analysis and Breakdown Elimination. + Knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, infrared thermography, oil analysis). + Ability to analysis data andcome up withinsights (MS Excel). + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability toidentifyand resolve complex equipment issues. + Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data toidentifytrends and patterns. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to a variety of audiences. + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. + Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate others. **Education:** Completed Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related field. The expected base salary range for this position is 84.500 CAD to 105.650 CAD depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 8% with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
