Job Title: Reliability Engineer
Job Description

As a Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that plant maintenance activities are executed and coordinated in a cost-effective manner by reducing waste and improving wrench time. You will conduct analyses of usage rates and equipment criticality to support a comprehensive parts inventory management plan, while scoping and evaluating the full extent of maintenance work needed to support reliable performance of production processes. Your efforts will drive the continuous improvement of maintenance systems through the establishment of performance objectives, execution of projects, and sharing of best practices.

ResponsibilitiesEnsure plant maintenance activities are executed and coordinated cost-effectively.Conduct analyses of usage rates and equipment criticality for parts inventory management.Evaluate maintenance work needed for reliable production performance.Drive continuous improvement of maintenance systems.Resolve day-to-day maintenance issues while balancing projects across departments.Understand and apply baseline knowledge of unit operations in maintenance functions.Design, plan, and execute simple projects.Recognize and implement opportunities for improvement.Essential SkillsMechanical engineering expertise.Experience in preventive maintenance.Proficiency in root cause analysis.Continuous improvement capabilities.SAP knowledge.Reliability engineering experience.Mechanical aptitude.Mechanical design skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering; mechanical or electrical required.Experience with high-speed rotating equipment.Knowledge of non-destructive testing.Utilities maintenance experience.Project management skills.Work Environment

This role involves spending 70% of the time in the office doing analysis and planning, and 30% on the floor performing tasks. You will be the only reliability engineer on the team, supported by a range of maintenance technicians. The position requires less than 5% travel.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $81000.00 - $109000.00/yr.
