Our APS team are hiring a Release Train Engineer based in the UK to help deliver our world-leading software. An exceptional servant leader who really understands Lean-Agile principles and the SAFe framework, you'll facilitate, coach and mentor a geographically dispersed team that delivers a mix of software products (including desktop, cloud, and SaaS). You'll make a difference by:
Coaching and mentoring Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and the development teams in Lean-Agile principles and practices.Proactively identifying and removing impediments, risks, and dependencies that hinder the delivery of our softwareDriving a culture of continuous improvement within our team, and fostering an environment where teams can learn, adapt, and optimise processes.Orchestrating key events such as PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt workshops, and System Demos.Guiding the entire Agile Release Train on how to deliver high-quality, customer-centric solutions on time, and in a way that maximises business value.Serving as the primary mentor and coach for the scrum masters in the team and helping them to improve the skills they need to serve their teams.Your success is grounded in:
Having practical experience of applying Lean-Agile principles and the SAFe framework.Demonstrable ability to coach, mentor, and inspire small teams where the contribution of each person is critical to success.A servant leadership mindset which enables you to empower teams, foster psychological safety, and remove obstacles to them achieving their full potential.Superb communication and facilitation skills, allowing you to get the best from our geographically dispersed team which is based in the UK, Europe and India.A desire to champion quality and to be transparent about the way we work, by being involved in regular audits and keeping our documented processes up to date.Join our Digital World
