Release Manager
Position Description:

This role will require someone in Cleveland, OH, Pittsburgh, PA, Dallas, TX, or Birmingham, AL.
CGI is hiring a Release Manager to join our dynamic team.
At CGI, you get to help build solutions as a full-time consultant with a world-class IT company. The individual should be able to lead people across multiple locations/time zones/continents is extremely important. This individual will be coordinating releases and creating release reporting for multiple crews with time sensitive timelines.
Work on projects for one of the largest financial institutions in US. Should be able to work independently and manage the work on your own.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

· Ensure Release Management Processes adherence for all the Jiras that are part of the Delivery/release.
· Optimize Release Management activities & processes
· Create & Maintain Release Management Documentation & artefacts
· Conduct Regular Release & retrospective meetings
· Aid Development team on the Process adherence.
· Conduct training sessions.
· Raise alerts on Risks in a timely manner and provide mitigation actions
· Coordinate with all Application/Project stakeholders for timely and quality documentation.
· To ensure all activities carried-out and solutions proposed, planned, and delivered are compliant with Organization policy guidelines.
· Contribute towards DevOps automation, functionally.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
-7 years of experience as Release Manager
• Project Management Experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Office
• Worked in JIRA and/or ADO
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to work independently with little direction
• Ability to drive changes forward with little direction
• Previous Management experience
• Self motivating
• Leadership experience
• Effective Communication and ability to communicate with different levels of leadership
Ability to deescalate challenging situations

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $57,100.00 - $154,300.00.
