The Registrar position exists to provide couples in marital crisis with a loving and compassionate point of contact as they begin the process of healing through Focus on the Family’s Hope Restored Intensives. This position requires a passion for the restoration of marriages facing significant difficulties. Registrars provide individuals with detailed information regarding marriage intensives, empathy for their circumstances, and guidance through the registration process. This position requires discernment and the ability to effectively communicate in matters of sensitivity.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Provides the front-line voice to people inquiring about Hope Restored Intensives
Answers inquiry phone calls about the Intensive Marriage Counseling experience and Weekend Getaways
Responds to email and social media inquiries regarding the Intensives and Weekend Getaways
Makes outbound calls to interested individuals and clients in the registration process
Sets up and maintains account information
Conducts sensitive interviews as part of the intensive registration process
Enters detailed documentation for each inquiry, communication, and registration in the CRM database
Receives and processes deposit payments for clients as they register for programs
Creates reservations in the hotel management system for each intensive location
Creates client files
Provides clients with necessary paperwork and intensive information
Ensures all procedures and standards set by management are followed
Embodies empowerment, self-confidence, flexibility, faithfulness, intentionality, and a positive, “can-do” attitude in all work tasks as assigned
Builds and establishes professional relationships with interested individuals to help promote and identify the appropriate program to meet client needs
Other Duties/Responsibilities:
Required to work from home on snow delays, early closures, or full closure days
Performs other duties as assigned

+ Office/Production environment performed at individual workstations or workstations at home
+ Repetitive motion
+ Ability to perform keying functions for 70% of the time or more
+ Ability to type proficiently minimum 45 words per minute
+ Ability to view dual computer monitor screens for entirety of assigned shift
+ Ability to speak, hear and see clearly
+ Frequently exposed to crisis and sensitive situations
+ Ability to sit at computer monitor for extended periods
+ Occasional holiday and weekend work is required

Knowledge/Experience:
+ Associate’s degree or two years of college preferred
+ 2-4 years of Customer Service or related experience preferred
+ Knowledgeable in Social Media venues
Skills, Abilities and Special Talents/Gifts:
+ Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully at all levels
+ Sensitivity in handling confidential information
+ Ability to calmly respond to urgent and emotionally intense calls
+ Pleasant phone voice
+ Proficient in the use of computer Microsoft Office 365
+ Ability to maintain composure in often-stressful environment due to call volume/nature of calls
+ Organizational skills; Detail oriented
+ Ability to discern when prayer is needed and to pray when asked according to guidelines
Pay Range: $22.00 to $25.25/hr.
