About the Role
As an Account/Relationship Manager, you’ll oversee your own portfolio of clients, building strong relationships and ensuring they receive exceptional service. You’ll play a key role in client retention, renewal negotiations, and identifying opportunities to promote additional services. This office-based position involves managing accounts via phone, email, and virtual meetings, with occasional external client visits. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate records, delivering consultancy services, supporting new client implementations, and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Occupational Health clients with annual contract values under £3,000. Proactively nurture client relationships to achieve high retention rates and successful renewals. Handle 40–60 renewals per month with a target retention rate of 95%. Deliver consultancy services such as onsite training and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM). Identify opportunities to upsell additional services, aiming for £10,000 in new business per quarter. Secure three self-generated new business wins per quarter. Provide feedback on client needs and market trends to help refine the company’s offerings. Maintain accurate CRM records and personal statistical reports to monitor progress and highlight risks or opportunities. Support the sales team with excellent customer service and administrative tasks.What We’re Looking For:
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences. Confident communicator who can build rapport over the phone and via email. Ability to multitask effectively while meeting deadlines and targets.
