Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Verifies weekly timecard packages for accuracyReviews all notes, regardless of format, for compliance and completeness before claims submissionMakes appropriate edits, including modifying shifts according to a payer’s rounding rulesPlaces appropriate shifts on a billing hold and release holds when appropriateCommunicates with the Reimbursement Specialist and/or branch office regarding edits, corrections and holdsMay complete basic claim submission tasksMay complete some administrative functions such as the sorting, collection, preparation and delivery of mail, completing write-off forms, running reports, etc.Performs other duties as assignedMinimum Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent is requiredMust have strong attention to detail and can remain focused for long periods of timePossess quick and accurate Alpha/Numeric data entry skillsProficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as Web-enabled applications is requiredExhibit excellent work ethic and commitment to job responsibilitiesMust be a self-starter, with the ability to work well as part of a team and independentlyPresent a positive image that reflects well on the organizationAbility to organize and manage time effectivelyExcellent prioritization and organization skillsAbility to effectively communicate and understand Billing requirementsWage/Salary Information:$17.00 per hour plus $1,200 annual bonus potential
