We are looking for a dedicated Rehab Aide like you to be a part of our team. **Job Summary and Qualifications** **Rehabilitation Aide** We are currently looking for an eager Rehabilitation Aide to join our team. As a Rehab Aide on our team, you will responsible for assisting the Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant and other team members in work activities of the department. You will assist patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. Your duties and responsibilities may include: + Participate in operational aspects of the department, maintain performance improvement activities within the department and participate in CQI activities + Ensure patient charges are accurate and entered on a timely basis + Participate in all infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety and fire safety programs Requirements: + High School diploma or equivalent + Previous experience in appropriate healthcare setting (preferred) + Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification + Critical thinking and adaptability; service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills; ability to read/comprehend written instructions; ability to follow verbal and written instructions; PC skills + Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date **HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital** is a 237-bed acute-care hospital serving Charlotte County.
