About the Role

An established UK-regulated financial institution is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Officer to join its Finance function on a 9-month fixed-term contract.

The successful candidate will support the preparation and submission of regulatory returns to UK regulators while strengthening data integrity, internal controls, and reporting processes. The role contributes directly to maintaining the institution’s regulatory compliance, operational resilience, and financial transparency.

The position provides strong exposure to capital and liquidity reporting, regulatory frameworks, and financial data governance within a regulated banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and timely submission of regulatory returns (monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc). Support reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of regulatory reports. Produce daily management information (MI) reports for senior management and internal stakeholders. Perform data analysis and validation to ensure the integrity of regulatory reporting data. Support mapping and testing of financial data within regulatory reporting systems, particularly for new products or regulatory updates. Maintain appropriate audit trails and documentation to support internal and external audit queries. Keep abreast of developments in PRA, FCA and EBA regulatory reporting requirements. Assist with Expected Credit Loss (ECL) reporting and capital forecast preparation. Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of regulatory reporting procedures and documentation. Provide ad-hoc support to the Finance team as required.

Skills and Experience

Minimum 2+ years experience in regulatory reporting within a banking or financial services environment. Strong understanding of PRA, FCA and EBA regulatory frameworks, including CRR/CRD IV. Familiarity with capital and liquidity regulatory reporting. Prior experience within a banking finance function is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Experience working with regulatory reporting systems and financial data mapping. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Education

Degree educated (or equivalent qualification) in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
